Prior to deployment, the sight has been studied. In the permitting process most agencies expect a plan for ongoing monitoring the site.

Reef Innovations can provide one time surveys or ongoing monitoring of the site. If monitoring is not contracted with Reef Innovations, it is often conducted as part of a scientific research plan, or by the local governmental board.
