West Harlem Waterfront Park 2006

This Bracket is designed to hold the Reef Ball at the depth desired, helping to create a living shoreline.

For this project, reef balls were installed in June 2006 just off of the West Harlem Waterfront Park  to enhance nearshore aquatic habitat values.

 

INNOVATIVE ECOLOGICAL DESIGN The seawall at Harlem River Park features stepped gabions planted with salt marsh grasses.   Then 50 Reef Ball were placed on pilings out from the seawall.
