The State of North Carolina Stockpiles Reef Balls at two locations. During the Summer months Reef Innovations provides the forms and forman who with local labor and supplies build various sizes of Reef Balls and Layer Cakes. Englehard is one of two sites used for construction.
The modules are then used for various projects offshore reefs as well as shoreline and oyster restoration projects.
