48 Reef Balls were deployed off Cable Beach in early 2014.
Project Description – Baha Mar is the new resort being built in Nassau. They bought 48 Goliaths to be placed in 6 circles of 8 balls landward of existing rock breakwaters. Inside these 6 circles they will be placing eco reefs, porcelain coral antlers. The balls and these antlers will have propagated corals from TNC transplanted to them. This is all for a snorkeling reef behind the hotel. They are considering an extension of the breakwater possibly using reef balls for a future project
